Grantham Rotary Club Select the Regimental Benevolent Charity as its Annual Appeal
The Regiment was delighted to learn the President of the Grantham Rotary Club has selected the Regimental Benevolent Charity to benefit from all money raising events for the period 2011/12. This announcement was made by the President at a Dinner attended by Lt Col Simon Bacon and Major Bill O’Driscoll. Also in attendance were 5 soldiers from the Poachers Mobile Recruiting Team commanded by Sgt Chris Burdass. In addition to the President’s money raising efforts the Regimental Charity also stands to gain from sales of a music CD. The CD is titled Our Boys and has 3 other songs recorded on it along with the title. For every CD sold the Regimental Benevolent Charity will receive £2.00 so the more that are sold the more the Regiment will benefit.
